Ryan Wang, a five-year-old piano prodigy

'Music just goes to my fingers': Meet the five-year-old piano prodigy who is already performing at Carnegie Hall despite only a year and a half of lessons
Ryan Wang, a five-year-old piano prodigy, appeared on The Ellen Show to talk about his incredible talent, and to teach the charmed talk show host a few phrases in Mandarin
The youngster was confused when Ellen asked if he never gets nervous before big shows. 'No I don't get nervous,' he says. 'It's just. . . I like to play!'
Ryan and Ellen shared an embrace at the end of the show
Ryan, who is fluent in Mandarin as well as English, clearly charmed Ellen with his polite demeanor as he taught her how to say a few phrases in Mandarin
The Vancouver, Canada resident, who played a concert at Carnegie Hall in March, broke into a rendition of Variations on a Russian Theme on the show, to the delight of the awe-stuck audience
