A 118-carat, flawless-colored diamond has gone on display at Sotheby’s in New York. The renowned auction house will sell the white diamond in Hong Kong on October 7. It is expected to shatter white diamond sale records.The stone, which has been cut into an oval shape, is said to be approximately the size of an egg. Sotheby’s is reportedly calling it ‘the greatest white diamond ever to appear at auction.’
